London – Full time home schooling for a Kuwaiti girl

Results

The girl learned to read through phonics and her communication and speech improved enormously.

The student had attended central London prep school for one year in Reception and was asked to stay down a year because of her limited academic ability and slow development. Her parents were concerned that this would not allow for a quick enough progress for her to reintegrate with her age appropriate peer group the following September.

We provided full time home schooling to include numeracy, literacy, and exciting trips to book shops; museums and galleries swimming, roller skating, climbing trees and music festivals.  We also introduced a Speech and Language Therapist to assess and then provide ongoing support to the girl, her tutors and family (including her nanny).

We were delighted to say that incredible progress made; the girl learned to read through phonics and her communication and speech improved enormously, allowing her to benefit from being back in a school setting the following September.
