Latin, 13 plus, Holiday Tuition for a student who planned to apply to two leading UK schools

The student was accepted to Dulwich College.

The aim of this short-term immersive placement was to quickly increase a 13 year old student’s interest and attainment of Latin whilst he was on his summer holiday. We needed to introduce a Latin specialist who had experience in helping prepare students for schools including Dulwich and Charterhouse.  The tutor was required to provide daily Latin tuition whilst also building up a strong rapport which would allow him to mentor the student, this included being flexible with activities such as swimming and playing sports with the student.
